Based in Melbourne, Australia, Walter Adamson is the founder and principal of Digital Investor Pty. Ltd. Digital Investor advises investors and owners of IT services and related businesses on strategy, capital realization, and business development.
He is Australia's leading i-mode® Business Strategy consultant with an outstanding network of consultants, carriers, content providers, and platform providers in Asia and Europe.
Prior to establishing his consulting practice, he was the strategic architect of Australia's most successful Systems Integration and IT Services company, where he founded and led the Systems Integration business unit. This company was sold to Computer Sciences Corporation in 1999.
Currently he is working with George Hara to establish alliances and distribution channels for Defta Partners' portfolio companies in Australia and to build the World Alliance Forum in Australia.
He is also a Member of the ICT Strategy Board of Victoria, and the External Advisor to the Board, and an advisor to several startups in the IT/telco services space, and well connected in Asia in this regard.
Mr Adamson has an MS in Computing Science, holds 6 Australian patents, and attended the Advanced Management Program at the Mt Eliza Business School. He was a founder of the EDP Auditor's Association in Australia.
